This series of sculptures was created as part of my residency at the Centre For Outer Space Studies.

Remote Care Cases are a series of antique first aid kits, repurposed to contain

life castings and photographs taken while on the Lunga 6 Analogue Space Research Mission. The life castings are made with Jesmonite mixed with soil collected on the island that the mission took place on. By steeping the soil in the Jesmonite liquid for different lengths of time, I could produce a range of colours and textures, all derived from the landscape. The series documents the medical case studies completed during the mission, including the simulated death of one of the mission crew members.
